Each lesson is 2 hours (with a break halfway) and starts with a 30 minute warmup then concentrates on a particular aspect of our style. If you decide to come and train, it is best to attend more than 1 lesson to get a good overview of our style. No previous level of fitness is required—we only expect you to do what you can. Better to try a lesson straight away instead of coming to watch first.
If you wish to attend a lesson (no booking required), please arrive approx 20 minutes before the start so you can be shown around and we can answer any questions you may have. We do not require kit to be purchased immediately—T-shirt, tracksuit bottoms, and clean trainers are fine for your first few weeks.
Like a lot of styles, we have a grading system but it is not compulsory. You can just train, but we believe grading is a good way to push yourself and increase knowledge and fitness. Please let instructors know of any medical conditions or injuries.

Lessons are for ages 7–14 and last for 1.5 hours with a 30-minute warmup. Each lesson concentrates on a different aspect of kung fu. Tuesday is for sparring and techniques, Thursday for forms. Our aim is to increase confidence and fitness.
Our grading system starts with punches, kicks, stances, and techniques, then progresses onto forms, building confidence by performing individually in front of instructors.
All instructors are DBS checked and trained in basic first aid. Please inform us of any medical conditions your child may have. You can watch from the mezzanine floor or complete an emergency contact form if leaving your child with us.
Adult classes are £3.50 a session or £10 per week. Children's classes are £2.50 a session.
